VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Recreational Activities
Volunteers are needed to help with decorations, serve food and provide one to one assistance as needed at any of the therapeutic recreation events.

Integrated Bowling Program

Teen volunteers are needed to help with a bowling program for teens and adults with developmental disabilities. Volunteers are needed from 3 to 4 P.M. on Mondays in Manassas and on Tuesdays in Woodbridge.

LIFE Program

Volunteers are also needed to help with a weekly life skills and fitness (LIFE) program. The program participants and volunteers meet from 6:30 to 7:30 P.M. on Mondays in Woodbridge and on Thursdays in Manassas.

Day Care Centers
Volunteers are needed Monday - Friday from 3:00 - 5:30 P.M. during the school year and from 9:00 A.M. to 5:30 P.M. during the summer and school holidays. Volunteers help with crafts, read books and provide extra attention for children and teens with developmental disabilities. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old.

Vocational Services

Volunteers are needed at VOSAC, a day support program in Triangle for adults with severe disabilities. The program needs volunteers from 9 A.M. - 2 P.M., Monday through Friday to help with activities and community outings.

Residential Program

Volunteers are needed to "adopt" an individual or an entire group home. Volunteers may take individuals out into the community, help with special holiday activities at the group home or simply stop by the group home for a friendly visit. Volunteers must be available evenings and/or weekends.
