GOLF TOURNAMENT

The Arc thanks all of our sponsors, players, advertisers and volunteers for making our 2nd Annual Golf Tournament held on May 9, 2008 at Forest Greens an outstanding success. Through your gracious support, The Arc raised over $45,000. Proceeds from this year’s golf tournament will support our children with disabilities with specialized supplies and equipment and give four yearly scholarships to low income families so that their children can attend our childcare centers. In addition, money will support our popular therapeutic recreation program, a new emergency assistance fund to cover medical and dental care not covered by insurance for adults in our residential programs, and provide a scholarship for one of our long time employees to attend nursing school in return for a two-year commitment to The Arc as an RN.
The Arc’s 3rd Annual Golf Tournament will be May 8, 2009. Please mark your calendars! Again, thanks so much for your participation in our second annual golf tournament. We trust that you will be eager to participate in next year’s tournament so that we can better serve people who need our care.
