The Muriel Humphrey and Robert Day Developmental Child Care Centers offer a warm and nurturing environment for children with disabilities. Care is available for a few hours, before and after school or all day. Both centers are licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia and offer a sliding fee scale based on the child's household income.

The Muriel Humphrey Center is located in Dale City at 13505 Hillendale Drive. The Center is open Monday through Friday from 5:45 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Children from six weeks to twenty-one years of age enjoy therapeutic and educational activities, recreation and friendship. Six classrooms are arranged according to the child's age and developmental level. Computers, adaptive toys, and other special equipment are available for the children.

During the summer months, the children enjoy various recreational activities, such as water play and crafts.

The Robert Day Child Care Center is located at 9208 Centreville Road in Manassas. The Center is open Monday- Friday from 6:15 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. Children with special needs between the ages of six weeks and twenty-one years of age are welcomed into this family style atmosphere. Small group activities encourage children to play and work together.
